Apple

April 2013

Acrylic painting of an apple, with a section removed, exposing the inner flesh. The apple floats in an empty space with blue and yellow dots. Rough, pop art style, with visible brush strokes.

This painting hung in my kitchen for several years. This was my attempt at a sort of pop art type of style. I enjoy the simplicity of the apple, mixed with the chaos of the background dots.
