Kite

June 2013

Acrylic painting of a yellow diamond-shaped kite flying in a gray sky. Style is cartoonish, with solid outlines around the kite.

The bright yellow diamond-shaped kite seems to be the most optimistic of my single-subject pieces. The kite is happy to keep flying, even against the stormy swirl of gray clouds.
